NEVADA SENATE DEMOCRATS HIRE COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR FOR LEGISLATIVE SESSION

CARSON CITY – Today, the Nevada Senate Democratic Caucus announced that it has hired Peter Koltak to serve as Communications Director for the 2015 legislative session. This marks the first time that the caucus has hired dedicated communications staff for a legislative session.

“As Democrats, our mission is to fight every day for good jobs, better schools, and stronger communities,” said Sen. Aaron D. Ford, Democratic Leader. “Bringing on Peter will help our caucus reinforce our message that middle class Nevadans have a voice in Carson City. ”

Koltak comes to Nevada from Columbus, Ohio, where he served most recently as Communications & Policy Director for David Pepper, the 2014 Democratic candidate for Ohio Attorney General. Koltak earned both his undergraduate and law degrees from The Ohio State University, and he has worked in a variety of campaign and legal settings.
