It is important to be efficient. Many homes out here were not built with efficiency included. More importantly we need to develop renewable energy. Solar, wind and thermal could all be used to get us off the dependency on fossil fuels like coal and oil. We need to also look into hydrogen powered operations which can be produced by solar power. Hydrogen would reduce smog emmissions in the Vegas valley and produces clean water when consumed. It would be a win-win solution for ewveryone except the fossil fuel companies which need to follow their predecessors in extinction. We either move toward our future or slide into oblivion. The time is now. - Bob Pike
