Welcome Students and Teachers! |
|
The Nevada Senate Democrats are excited and eager to get involved with local schools! Whether you are a teacher or student, we have the resources to make sure your school can participate. There are many different ways to get involved. Below outlines the different aspects of the Nevada Senate Democrats School Outreach Program:
Speaking Engagements
One of the best ways to inform students about government and politics in Nevada is by having a staff member come speak to your class or school. Now more than ever we are finding the youth wanting to get politically active and we want to provide them with the knowledge they need to get involved. Whether we are speaking to grade school students, high school students, or Young Democrats clubs, we find it necessary that the students recieve adequate knowledge on the political activities that take place in their state.
Below you will find an outline of discussion points for our speaking engagements. Please Note:If there are some specific talking points or issues you would like us to discuss during the speaking engagement, please inform us and we will be sure to add them.
